I am the Media and Public Education Manager and Deputy Director for this US Dept. of Education special library. NARIC has been around since the late 70s. We collect and disseminate the results of research funded by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research.

I've been with NARIC for 14 years. NARIC joined AUN in 2008. We don't participate in the chat, but we're available to answer questions relating to disability and rehabilitation.
As for me, I just started library school through Drexel. By this time next year I hope to be a full-fledged and papered librarian!
