300,000th Question Celebration Toolkit

This summer, Maryland AskUsNow! reaches a new milestone with the 300,000th question answered! This toolkit will provide you with some of the materials you might need to celebrate your own library's participation in this statewide service.

If you'd like specific usage data for your own institution, contact the liaison for your institution or Julie.

The Main Event

Join us at our main press event for the presentation of awards and meet our 300,000th customer!

Event to be held at the Baltimore County Public Library North Point Branch at 11am on Thursday, July 15th.

Our 300,000th question poster (11" x14") is currently being distributed.
You can also download it and print it on your own as well! Note: It is a large pdf so please right click and "save as."

Celebration Ideas

  • create a display for AskUsNow! in your library
  • put up posters around the neighborhood and in your library! (our 300k posters or our regular ones)
  • decorate a tree with AskUsNow! highlighters
  • have an AskUsNow! contest!
  • distribute highlighters, bookmarks, and other swag at library and community events!
  • have all branch staff wear orange and yellow- the Maryland AskUsNow! colors!
  • purchase AskUsNow! swag to wear in your branch
  • Wear your MPT AskUsNow! tshirt to work and around town!

  • give prizes for who can guess the meaning of 300,000! (great idea AACPL!)
