I want to change how I am alerted to new customers

To change your alert settings, click on the "settings" link on the upper right hand corner of your Chat Monitor.

Flash based popup alerts will give you a popup only within FlashChat. If you are on another window other than the Chat Monitor, you will not see this alert.

Browser based alerts will give you a popup over whatever window you are currently on, regardless of program.

Sound alert when “New” patron arrives dings once per new customer.

Sound alert repeatedly will sound an alert for as long as there is a “new” customer in queue. Regardless of number of customers, it will keep dinging until they are all picked up. 

Sound alert repeatedly when "MY" patron has responded will give you a repeated "ding" when your customer responds. The "ding" will not stop until you respond to the customer.
